ParentSquare Official School Communications
ParentSquare & StudentSquare Official School Communications
Oakland Tech and OUSD use ParentSquare & StudentSquare for mass communications to our students, families, and staff.
- ParentSquare automatically sends both Oakand Tech and OUSD district-wide messages to a student's primary contact via text, email, and/or mobile app and provides a website showing past messages. Other contacts and family members can also opt into these school communications by creating a ParentSquare account. (Add the contact to Aeries to enable this.)
- StudentSquare automatically sends both Oakland Tech and OUSD district-wide messages to a student's email address.
Please read your messages from the school.
Are you receiving too many messages? You can set your preferences to choose when and how you receive alerts. On the website: log in to ParentSquare/StudentSquare, click on your name, choose My Account. Click on Notification Settings. On the app: click on the menu button, choose Account, then choose Notifications.
If you aren't receiving messages, please look for a text or email with sign-up instructions.
Under ‘Links’, look for useful resources like the Bulldog Daily Announcements slide deck, the Get Connected Calendar, The Bullhorn Newsletter and more.
