Special Education

Special Education

Oakland Tech’s Special Education Dept. houses eight distinct programs serving students with a wide variety of special needs. Students with special needs comprise around 10% of Tech’s student body and, including teachers and support staff, is the largest department in the school. In order to receive special education services, students must have an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) delineating which services are most appropriate and beneficial.
