College & Career Team

The College Mentoring Committee (“CMC”) supports Oakland Tech’s College & Career Center (“CCC”) and School Counseling team. Our purpose is to support staff in expanding opportunity and equity for all students as they explore their post-high school college and career journeys.

The CMC helps the College & Career Center host a series of Family Programs & Events focused on the college application and financial aid processes. In addition, the CCC runs Student Programs & Events throughout the school year. The CMC provides volunteer support for these events and other activities.  There are a variety of volunteer opportunities for both in-person and remote programs and events.
